QPS Holdings, LLC, which acquired Bio-Kinetic in February 2008, is a leading, independent GLP-compliant contract laboratory supporting drug discovery and development for branded pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and generic drug companies. QPS provides laboratory services in bioanalysis (LC/MS/MS), drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK), and biomarkers analysis (protein, biochemical and genomic). The merger in February 2008 of QPS and Bio-Kinetic, which operates a 240-bed Phase I facility in Springfield, Mo., extended the Company’s service offering, allowing it to provide its customers with early clinical services. QPS also operates a laboratory facility in Taiwan, which services the Pacific-Rim.
