Argentum Expands Team

NEW YORK, NY – May 7, 2019 – Argentum, a growth equity firm that partners with entrepreneurial owners to build industry-leading B2B software, technology-enabled and business services companies, is pleased to announce the expansion of both its investment and business development teams, welcoming Michael Lipin and Jean Parker, who have joined the firm as Associates.

Michael Lipin joins Argentum’s investment team from Barclays, where he was an Associate in the Global Technology Investment Banking Group, advising software clients on mergers, acquisitions, equity financing, debt financing and strategic transactions. Previously, Michael worked as an analyst at technology investment banking firm, AGC Partners, where he sourced and executed M&A transactions and private financings for software, security, digital media and financial technology firms. Michael holds a BA in Political Science from Yale University.

Jean Parker joins Argentum’s business development team from Preqin, where she was the Director of Business Development & Product Development and co-led the launch of the ESG & impact platform. Earlier in her career, Jean was an Account Executive at Axial and also spent 5 years as an Analyst and Associate in Citigroup’s sales and trading division specializing in equity derivative sales and rates derivatives structuring. Jean holds a B.S. in Business Administration and graduated with University Honors from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
